A good week

Dustin and I headed to Douglas to see his family on Wednesday and spent the weekend, we had a great time. Ty loves his grandma DeAnn, she can sure get him laughing. we did a big circle and went to Mesa as well so we could see my new nephew Brody, he is such a CUTIE PIE! (Im sure Jamie has pictures on her blog). Not a lot has been going on at home, Ty and I just love to play and hang out and watch baby einstien videos all day. He is sure growing fast, he had a check up yesterday and he weighed 12 pounds. Yikes! I could tell it was getting harder and harder to lug his car seat around, (obviously Im a weakling) but geez he's doubled in weight sence I had him. He got his first round of shots and was NOT a happy camper last night, he cried and cried! This morning when I got him out of his crib he was all smiles though so Im glad thats over with. It was pretty sad, he was all chattering and kicking around while the doctor was talking getting ready to jab the first one in then when she stuck him, he looked at me all shocked and his face turned bright red and he started screaming so hard that he was doing that not breathing cry that just breaks your heart, I felt pretty bad. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do, being a parent is sometimes rough but it is so worth it. Here are some random shots. Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!

I finally have some time to sit down and write about what has been going on in our lives. Dustin and I love being parents! Ty is learning new things everyday that make us laugh. He loves to Chatter and make lots of sounds. I love his little grin and his high pitched scream of excitement when you talk to him. He wants to talk so bad he just wiggles all around full of glee! When he was 1 month old he got RSV and experienced his first ambulance ride and hospital stay that was no fun, but he is doing much better now. RSV is scary stuff! Dustin is doing good, he is in school taking some classes that he enjoys that will hopefully land him the job we have been trying to get at the power plant. I went back to work for the cardiologist that I worked for before I got pregnant, I only work 10 hours a week and I get to take Ty with me one day and my mom watches him the other day. It is working out really well for us so far, it gets me out of the house for a bit and gives me a dose of adult life and no baby talk which is probably a good thing. All in all things are great in the Shupe household, we couldnt ask for more.

Am I dumb??

Okay seriously I dont know if its just because its 11:30 at night or because I graduated from St. Johns High, but I cant figure out how to make my pictures smaller and put them where I want them. Also I dont know how to add friends so if you come across my blog and want to be added please inform me how to do it. IM A NERD!!

Catch Up

Well a lot has gone on sense I put my first post up so I decided tonight would be a perfect night to bring everyone up to speed. Ty was born January 10'th and was a perfect 6 pound 14 ounces. He is a very good baby and amazes me everyday. It is so sad how fast time goes by and how much he changes everyday. This weekend he moved up to size 1 diapers and I felt like crying. They only stay little for a minute so believe me I have been videoing and taking tons of pictures. I never want to forget all the cute things he does and his sounds that melt my heart. I love being a mom!
